William H. Sims III
Senior Pastor
Pastor Sims is a native Tennessean. He grew up in
Humboldt, Tennessee and has served as pastor at churches
in Ashland City and Union City Tennessee. His educational
background includes 3 academic degrees: Bachelor
of Arts (Religion) from Union University, Master
of Divinity from the New Orleans Baptist Theological
Seminary and Doctor of Ministry the New Orleans Baptist
Theological Seminary.
Pastor Sims has served as a Trustee of the Tennessee
Baptist Children’s Home, was active in the
State Convention, served in numerous responsibilities
on the associational level, taught Pastoral Ministry
Courses for Southern Seminary, New Orleans Seminary,
and Blue Mountain College, Blue Mountain MS, was
an R. G. Lee Fellow for Union University, and authored
articles for Lifeway in regard to Pastoral Ministry
The Sims family has already relocated to Seymour.
Pastor Sims wife, Nancy is an elementary school teacher.
The Sims have two children, Drew and Hannah.

CHAD RITTENHOUSE
Associate
Pastor of Education & Outreach
Dr. Chad Rittenhouse has served Valley Grove as the
Minister of Education and Outreach since January
2001.
He graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological
Seminary with both a Masters of Divinity with Languages
degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree. He and his
wife, Paige, are the parents of Allie and Carly.

| JUSTIN BEASLEY
Youth
Pastor
Justin Beasley has served Valley Grove as Minister of Youth and College since August 2011. He studied at Liberty University and plans to attend Seminary there. He served for two years as an Area Representative for “The Fellowship of Christian Athletes”. His heart is, “to see students follow Christ to a place where they are using their gifts and talents, and the platform God has given them to influence others for the cause of Christ.” He was married to his wife Rachel in May of 2011, who recently graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Spanish from the University of Tennessee.
