Missions and Outreach
Mission Organizations:
CiA (Children in Action) - This program for children ages 1st thru 5th grade meets each Wednesday during the 7 p.m. worship hour.
Mission Friends - This mission program offered for pre-schoolers meets Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Please keep in mind that CIA and Mission Friends do not meet in the summer months or during the Christmas Holiday season.
Valley Grove supports missions internationally and domestically by giving a percentage of tithes and offerings to the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention. This collective giving with other SBC churches empowers a missionary force of over 11,000 with the sole purpose of leading others to Christ.
In addition to financial contributions, our members participate in the following:
• Local missions through benvenolent needs ministries and cooperative efforts with the Montgomery Village Baptist Cener. We also partner with the Knox County Association of Baptists in mission efforts.
• North American Mission Trips (Mission teams assist churches with back-yard bible clubs, VBS, construction projects, etc.
• International Missions (Mission teams participate in short-term overseas mission trips sharing Christ with different people groups.)
